This is a full run of the whole programme and our chance to see the other works and admire the contributions of our fellow artists. Sadly, we were not able to record the performance at Sadler’s Wells, so this will also be the only record of the work as it was presented there. We are joining some performers of amazing experience and depth of quality – it is both inspiring and humbling. And then it is our turn. Of course, things will go wrong and there will be numerous notes afterwards and things to check with our dancing colleagues. But although the moment is approaching, this is not the moment; it is in performance, in that moment that the test arrives – that is when we need to be there, to both remember and forget, to be newly present.
