| Richard Layzell – The Room of Freeflow | ||||||||||||
|
Designed for Nightwalking, The Room of Freeflow made its appearance at the Greenwich Dance Agency London, in a long space sometimes used as a green room.
This installation directly encapsulated my working processes, with elements and objects from my 3rd floor studio at Chisenhale Art Place in Bethnal Green, my home office/studio in Finsbury Park and Tania's workspace. I was physically present as guide, host, artist and performer. People entered in small groups. I explained the intricacies and ironies of these complex inter-relationships: three studios, three practices, three work-tables, alongside an actual work in progress: The Table Project. The title was taken from one of the later categories in the re-modelled process-tracking notes. |
