As\u00a0a\u00a0dancer, L\u00e9a\u00a0has collaborated with a\u00a0wide range of\u00a0companies and\u00a0choreographers in\u00a0the\u00a0UK and\u00a0across Europe.<\/p>\n

Her choreographic work has been presented across Europe and\u00a0internationally, at\u00a0festivals and\u00a0platforms such as\u00a0Aerowaves (CR), Tanzmesse D\u00fcsseldorf (DE), Le Festival d\u2019Avignon at\u00a0CDCN \u2013 Les Hivernales (FR), the\u00a0Seoul International Dance Festival (SK), and\u00a0Summerhall at\u00a0the\u00a0Edinburgh Fringe Festival (UK).<\/p>\n

Commissions for\u00a0companies include tanzmainz (DE) and\u00a0Korea National Contemporary Dance Company (SK).<\/p>\n

Her work is notably supported by\u00a0TROIS C-L<\/nobr> Maison pour la Danse and\u00a0the\u00a0Ministry of\u00a0Culture of\u00a0Luxembourg (LU).<\/p>\n

Outside of\u00a0dance, she serves as\u00a0an\u00a0ambassador for\u00a0The\u00a0Eve Appeal, a\u00a0UK charity dedicated to\u00a0gynaecological health.<\/p>\n

\n\"\"Chen Yongping<\/strong><\/p>\n

Worked at\u00a0Beijing Dance Academy for\u00a012 years as\u00a0a\u00a0physical training instructor and\u00a0dance choreographer.<\/p>\n

It is my\u00a0honour to\u00a0participate in\u00a0this event.<\/p>\n

In\u00a0choreographic practice, there is a\u00a0preference for\u00a0expressing character emotions and\u00a0relational shifts through bodily tension.<\/p>\n

\n\"\"Yu Pik Yim<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yu Pik-yim<\/nobr>\u00a0 is an\u00a0award-winning<\/nobr> choreographer born in\u00a0Hong Kong. She is currently a\u00a0Senior
\nLecturer and\u00a0undergraduate and\u00a0postgraduate supervisor at\u00a0the\u00a0Hong Kong Academy for
\nPerforming Arts (HKAPA), where she also serves as\u00a0Programme Leader of\u00a0the\u00a0Academy\u2019s
\nDiploma in\u00a0Dance Foundations and\u00a0BA (Hons) in\u00a0Dance.
\nShe received her professional training at\u00a0HKAPA and\u00a0the\u00a0Beijing Dance Academy, and\u00a0later
\nobtained a\u00a0Master of\u00a0Creative Industries from Queensland University of\u00a0Technology (QUT),
\nAustralia. Rooted in\u00a0Chinese ethnic and\u00a0folk dance traditions, her practice integrates
\ncontemporary creative approaches with research-led<\/nobr> inquiry, cultural dialogue, and\u00a0cross-disciplinary<\/nobr> collaboration.
\nThrough sustained artistic practice, academic leadership, and\u00a0international engagement, Yu
\ncontinues to\u00a0foster meaningful dialogue in\u00a0dance education and\u00a0interdisciplinary
\nperformance across local and\u00a0global contexts.<\/p>\n

Born and\u00a0raised in\u00a0Hong Kong, Tsang Wing-fai<\/nobr> is a\u00a0freelance artist engaged in\u00a0multidisciplinary collaborations, site-responsive<\/nobr> choreography, street dance, contemporary danceand theatre. She holds a\u00a0bachelor’s degree in\u00a0Architectural Studies from The\u00a0Chinese University of\u00a0Hong Kong.<\/p>\n

In\u00a02021, Tsang received a\u00a0full scholarship from The\u00a0Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and\u00a0Dance Fund and\u00a0graduated with Distinction in\u00a0the\u00a0Master of\u00a0Fine Arts in\u00a0Dance, specialising in\u00a0Choreography, at\u00a0The\u00a0Hong Kong Academy for\u00a0Performing Arts in\u00a02023. In\u00a02024, she was nominated for\u00a0the\u00a0“Tom Brown Emerging Choreographer” award at\u00a0the\u00a025th Hong Kong Dance Awards. Currently, she focuses on\u00a0researching improvisation in\u00a0performances concerning spatiality, temporality, identity and\u00a0language.<\/p>\n

With a\u00a0career rooted in\u00a0movement, choreography and\u00a0visual story telling that have equipped Waddah with a\u00a0number of\u00a0skills that have made him a\u00a0well rounded and\u00a0well versed artist specialising in\u00a0street, hip hop and\u00a0contemporary styles. His interests lie in\u00a0creating honest and\u00a0authentically driven work across Film, TV and\u00a0theatre. He graduated from The\u00a0Place with a\u00a0BA Hons degree in\u00a0contemporary dance and\u00a0has since cofounded his own multidisciplinary dance company FUBUNATION to\u00a0which he serves as\u00a0artistic director. FUBUNATION were selected as\u00a0Aerowaves artists in\u00a02021 and\u00a0have gone on\u00a0to\u00a0perform internationally and\u00a0showcase work at\u00a0Roundhouse, Sadlers Wells, V&A\u00a0as\u00a0well as\u00a0featuring on\u00a0platforms such as\u00a0FACT Magazine and\u00a0multiple film festivals and\u00a0exhibitions for\u00a0their film and\u00a0photographic work. Commercially, Waddah has choreographed and\u00a0collaborated with major artists and\u00a0brands across the\u00a0UK & USA. His choreographic efforts have seen him work with the\u00a0likes of\u00a0Nike, Gucci, Tommy Hilfiger, Soho House, Burna Boy, Travis Scott, Tyla, Glass Animals, Sky TV and\u00a0Venmo.<\/p>\n

\n\"\"Rhys Dennis<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rhys Dennis is a\u00a0London-based<\/nobr> Choreographer, Intimacy Coordinator, Researcher, and\u00a0Performer working betwee
\nn UK and\u00a0Brazil. Beginning in\u00a0Street Dance before expanding into contemporary forms, his practice explores ritual, ceremony, memory, and\u00a0Afro-diasporic<\/nobr> identity through movement, asking how the\u00a0body can remember, reconstruct, and\u00a0reimagine what has been lost, forgotten, or\u00a0yet to\u00a0come.<\/p>\n

In\u00a02017, Rhys co-founded<\/nobr> FUBUNATION, a\u00a0dance organisation creating space and\u00a0visibility for\u00a0people of\u00a0colour within the\u00a0UK contemporary dance scene. He was selected as\u00a0an\u00a0Aerowaves artist in\u00a02021, received the\u00a0Lisa Ullmann Scholarship in\u00a02023, and\u00a0is currently a\u00a0Fellow in\u00a0Residence at\u00a0Instituto Sacatar in\u00a0Brazil 2026.<\/p>\n

\n\"\"Wang Ruping<\/strong><\/p>\n

WANG, Ruping is a\u00a0native of\u00a0Taiwan. She has served as\u00a0a\u00a0full-time<\/nobr> faculty at\u00a0the\u00a0Department of\u00a0Dance, University of\u00a0Taipei since 2010. Wang received her MFA from the\u00a0University of\u00a0Utah Modern Dance Department and\u00a0BFA from the\u00a0Taipei National University of\u00a0the\u00a0Arts.<\/p>\n

She had been a\u00a0member of\u00a0Jos\u00e9 Lim\u00f3n Dance Company, Metropolitan Opera Ballet, Mary Anthony Dance Theatre, Martha Graham Dance Company, the\u00a0Repertory Dance Theatre Utah\u2026 among others. Besides teaching and\u00a0performing, she enjoys freelance dancing and\u00a0creating dance for\u00a0her personal interest in\u00a0arts and\u00a0in\u00a0cultures.<\/p>\n

\n\"\"Ma Nan<\/strong><\/p>\n

Professor MA Nan is mainly teaching specialized dance courses including Modern Dance Technique, Modern Dance Repertoire and\u00a0Dance Choreography.<\/p>\n

She has been honored with titles such as\u00a0Beijing Municipal Excellent Young Teacher and\u00a0Young Top Talent, and\u00a0has developed Beijing Municipal High-Quality<\/nobr> Undergraduate Courses, High-Quality<\/nobr> Undergraduate Textbooks as\u00a0well as\u00a0a\u00a0National First-Class<\/nobr> Undergraduate Course.<\/p>\n

She has received Creation Awards, Outstanding Instructor Awards, Gardener Awards and\u00a0other honors in\u00a0dance competitions, and\u00a0has served as\u00a0a\u00a0judge for\u00a0numerous national and\u00a0international dance competitions.<\/p>\n

\nNayaw Fangas<\/strong>
\nBorn in\u00a0Taitung, Taiwan. Fangas is an\u00a0artist, director, choreographer, and\u00a0performer. His versatile practices probe into the\u00a0dynamics of\u00a0audience participation and\u00a0the\u00a0possibilities of\u00a0new technology in\u00a0the\u00a0performing arts, while constantly reflecting on\u00a0his indigenous identity and\u00a0cultural tradition as\u00a0Amis.<\/span><\/p>\n
